THE PROBLEM: Making drinking water safe and better tasting

Water pitchers commonly found in homes today, such as those by Brita® and PUR®, go only part of the way toward purifying drinking water. While they generally filter out chlorine, lead, pesticides and other contaminants, they don’t disinfect water and therefore can’t claim to make water truly purified to drink.
